Gateway

PortMiami moves the weight of the world on a schedule nobody sees. One of the busiest cargo gateways in the Americas, it sits at the edge of the city in plain sight, yet most people who live beside it have never looked past the cranes. Shot between 2018 and 2024, Gateway is a long-term series made from inside that world: the architecture of steel and cargo, the vessels pressed against the skyline, the singlehuman figure dwarfed by all of it. The port has its own rhythm, its own logic, its own beauty. This is an attempt to make it visible.
